Couples Therapy

Couples often come to therapy feeling caught in painful patterns that seem to repeat despite their best efforts to change them. One partner may pursue while the other withdraws, conflict may escalate or go unresolved, or resentment and distance can begin to replace the closeness that once felt natural.

In our work together, we slow these patterns down and look beneath the surface of conflict to understand the emotions, needs, fears, and vulnerabilities driving each partner's responses. I help couples recognize the cycle they have created together, take responsibility for their part in it, and practice responding to one another in new ways. Therapy is not simply about communicating better - it is about creating greater honesty, emotional safety, intimacy, and connection.

Our work may address recurring conflict, emotional or physical intimacy, trust and infidelity, communication, family dynamics, major life transitions, or questions about the future of the relationship.

I offer couples therapy in-person in Brooklyn and online.
